About Madison, LCSW

Hi! I'm Madison, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients ages 11+ in person in Arvada and virtually all across Colorado. My approach is warm, authentic, and grounded in trauma-informed, client-centered, strengths-based care.

I help motivated individuals work through anxiety, trauma, stress, grief, depression, relational issues, and life transitions - building practical tools and a new framework for understanding themselves along the way. I especially enjoy working with high achievers and clients ready to do deep, meaningful work and move past old patterns.

My therapy career started with providing trauma therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in a nonprofit outpatient setting. From there, I learned that I value building therapeutic relationships based on attunement, safety, and authenticity. The therapy work is done at your pace, where you are the expert of your life and I’m here to help guide you along . I keep it real. Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and often includes humor when it feels right. You’ll find a therapist who is engaged, present, and willing to gently challenge you with honest feedback when it’s helpful.

I'm trained in EMDR, which I integrate with mindfulness-based approaches to help clients process the past and build resilience for what's ahead. I enjoy incorporating breath-work and holistic approaches to support the nervous system, as our connection to our bodies plays a large role in our emotional experiences.

My academic background:

MSW, Metropolitan State University of Denver

BA Clinical Psychology & Communication, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
